HPE Summer Camp 2019

A summer enrichment program providing lessons and activities that are age appropriate and healthy in discussion, teaching life skills that are essential for personal growth at all developmental levels. Our summer enrichment program will have a strong focus on social emotional skills, critical thinking and character building, creating opportunities for children to practice and gain new tools in building healthy relationships and learning important life skills. We will work on team and character building activities each week accompanied by plenty of free play, art, exploration, while also providing activities that nurture important skills necessary for reading, writing, and mathematics. These activities will focus on gross and fine motor skills as well as strength training.

A big inspiration for this program is @TeachandTransform, who teaches social justice and inclusion with an anti-bias lens at all developmental levels. I believe change in the world starts from the beginning. This program is being created to offer exactly that, the start of change.
